North Carolina is currently experiencing significant coastal erosion. This is a problem, as many people had previously decided to build their houses right on the coast. Put these two things together and, well, you get a lot of homes suddenly becoming aquatic.

That’s exactly what happened here. According to the Washington Post, this is one of three houses that have collapsed since last week Friday, and if things continue at the current pace, there will be plenty more houses in the water soon.

Might be a sign to pick up and move inland!
